Do your thoughts, feelings and behaviours feel disconnected from your true self—shaped by past experiences rather than aligned with the person you want to be?
Trauma can affect your mind, body, and spirit, leaving you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. Maybe you struggle with flashbacks, nightmares, or a constant feeling of dread. Perhaps you feel like you’re watching life from the outside, unable to fully engage or feel joy.
In our work together, you’ll be supported every step of the way. I will guide you through processing past wounds, shifting negative beliefs, and building resilience.
You don’t have to carry this alone. Healing is possible, and I’m here to help you reconnect with your inner strength and peace.

I welcome you where you are.
Healing isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about reclaiming you.
Trauma can shape the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Maybe you feel stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you, or your body still holds onto past experiences in ways that feel overwhelming. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
My primary focus is EMDR therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps reprocess distressing memories so they lose their emotional charge. I also integrate somatic awareness to bring attention to how trauma is stored in the body, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional connections, and other trauma-focused approaches to support deep, lasting healing.
EMDR works by allowing your brain to reprocess distressing memories in a way that reduces their emotional intensity, making space for new, adaptive beliefs. It also helps you recognize how past coping strategies—once necessary for survival—may now be affecting your relationships and self-perception.
By strengthening internal resources, fostering nervous system regulation, and creating a sense of safety in both mind and body, EMDR supports the lasting change you deserve—one that honours your resilience and helps you step into a life that feels aligned with your true self.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help you process distressing memories and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows your brain to reprocess painful events in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. This process helps shift negative core beliefs, ease emotional distress, and foster a greater sense of safety and empowerment. If past experiences still feel overwhelming or intrusive, EMDR can help you move forward with more clarity and freedom.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT is a compassionate, research-backed approach that focuses on deepening emotional connections—both with yourself and with others. Whether you’re struggling with relationship challenges, emotional distress, or patterns of disconnection, EFT helps uncover the underlying emotions driving your experiences. Through this process, you can build more secure relationships, develop self-compassion, and transform patterns that may be holding you back. EFT is especially helpful for individuals and couples looking to heal attachment wounds and create more meaningful connections.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Change can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re unsure where to start. Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach that helps you explore your own motivations, values, and strengths. Instead of pushing for change, MI supports you in uncovering what truly matters to you, empowering you to make choices that align with your goals. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, breaking unhelpful patterns, or working through uncertainty, MI helps you tap into your inner wisdom and move forward with confidence.
Trauma-Focused Therapy
Trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Trauma-Focused Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to gently explore and process past experiences without retraumatization. This approach acknowledges how your nervous system responds to stress and helps you develop tools to regulate emotions, build resilience, and reclaim your sense of self. You are not defined by what happened to you—healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Somatic Awareness in Therapy
Your body holds valuable information about your experiences. In our work together, we may incorporate elements of gentle somatic techniques to help you reconnect with your body, release stored stress, and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and emotional balance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do trauma flashbacks happen?...
Flashbacks occur when unresolved trauma is triggered, making past events feel present. EMDR therapy helps by reprocessing these memories so they lose emotional intensity.
How do I stop feeling on edge all the time?...
Hypervigilance after trauma keeps your nervous system stuck in high alert. Therapy can help regulate these responses, making it easier to feel safe and grounded.
Can EMDR help with chronic stress and overthinking?...
Yes. EMDR targets distressing memories and negative thought patterns, helping your brain develop more adaptive responses so you feel less stuck in mental loops.
